Does your child have a very hard time with injections?

If your child is very scared of injections, they might be experiencing vaso vagal syncope. Ask them if they have ever felt dizzy (lightheaded) afterwards. If the answer is yes, this is likely where the fear is coming from. Have them lay down for injections and for 3 to 5 minutes afterwards.

Also, bring glucose tablets to any doctor’s appointment. Have your child eat two before the injection and two after the injection. It is best to drink some water after eating glucose tablets.
